Since 2009, with the support of the Banbro company, Frogtown residents and friends have maintained space at Our Village, a 40-bed community garden at Pierce Butler and Milton Avenue. Gardeners of all different ages and abilities learn from one another.

 

Each garden plot is a 4'x10' raised bed.  Gardening tools and water are provided. In the spring, seeds and starter plants are available for gardeners, while supplies last. 

 

Garden beds are assigned in spring, on a first-come basis. Gardeners agree to maintain a bed throughout the season. There is no charge to participate. Frogtown residents get first priority.

Our Village also has an urban orchard of fruit trees, native pollinator plantings and places to relax.
